Welcome to our Membership page, here you will find information on how to join our organisation and the different categories including individual, group and Associate membership.
BECOME A MEMBER
INFORM Cwm Taf Morgannwg is a member-led organisation and our strength lies in our members’ knowledge, experience and commitment and allowing them to shape our values and priorities. New members are always welcome and can join as individuals, groups or associates.
INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP
​Anyone with a lived experience of mental illness (past or present) can join as an individual member and a formal diagnosis is not required.
Individual Membership is free, and we reimburse members’ travelling expenses when they attend members’ meetings or other INFORM CTM endorsed events.
All individual members

can attend two national members’ meetings per year (the September AGM and the Jan/Feb winter meeting),

receive copies of our regular newsletter and access training and capacity-building events.

Members of INFORM CTM can also contribute to any research and consultation we undertake and can represent INFORM CTM and other individuals with mental health issues on relevant bodies and at meetings with prior agreement from employees of the organisation.

GROUP MEMBERSHIP
​Group membership is available to Mental health groups led by service users and/or individuals with a lived experience of mental illness. Group membership requires a small membership fee to be paid annually.

Several members from the group to attend our events and cast a collective vote on behalf of their organisation on AGM resolutions.

The Board considers group membership applications at its regular monthly meetings and is welcoming and inclusive. You’ll be notified of your group membership shortly after it’s been approved.

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP
​Associate membership is for any Mental health groups led by service providers, volunteers or carers. Associate membership requires a membership fee to be paid annually and this varies depending on the level of income for your organisation.
Associate Members enjoy many of the benefits of Group Members but reflecting INFORM CTM’s remit as a service user-led organisation associate members are not eligible to vote on AGM resolutions.
The Board considers associate group membership applications at its regular monthly meetings and is welcoming and inclusive. You will be notified of your associate group membership shortly after it’s been approved by the board.
